Burhan · Snack franchise owner
“He solved many issues that I was having a difficult time with before he joined the company, which not only helps me as an IO but also the company as a whole by increasing sales and giving the customers more options at all the locations. I really appreciate everything he has done and hope he remains in my territory. He knows the area well and the managers get along good with him. Thank you.”

How it works

From a one-minute checklist to five stores. Six weeks on average.

No later than 90 days. Here’s every step.

Apply for store placement
  1. Pass the store-ready checklist 1 min

Nine quick questions on what stores require. Pass the must-haves, and you can book your free review.

  2. Free 30-minute review Free

We look at your product, your barcode and your pricing. I tell you straight whether it fits Manhattan’s independent stores.

  3. You get the checkout

If it’s a fit, I send you the checkout: $1,000 for five stores. If it isn’t, you’ll know on the call.

  4. I walk your product in

I visit independent Manhattan stores in person and pitch your product to owners and managers.

  5. Stores say yes

A store counts when the owner or manager agrees to take your product on a trial of 30 days or more. You supply it on consignment, and the store pays only for what sells.

  6. The account is yours

If a store reorders, I hand you the account. From then on you ship reorders and the store pays you directly.

What you pay and what you risk

You pay $200 for each store that says yes.

$1,000 covers five stores. At day 90, you get $200 back for every store I didn’t place, up to the full $1,000.

Who walks your product in

Steve Terrano

I took a job at UTZ as the Manhattan account rep and grew their Manhattan business. The route guys I worked with started calling me to help them get into stores. They still do.

  • 32 new stores in six weeks on my own route, including a Target and two Walgreens.
  • Owned a Pepperidge Farm route in Queens from 2015 to 2019.
  • Got my own brand into 63 stores within a couple of years.

My own results. Not typical.

FAQ

Questions brand owners ask

Still unsure? Ask me on the free review.

What happens on the free review?

It’s 30 minutes with me, free. We look at your product, your barcode and your pricing, and I tell you straight whether it fits Manhattan’s independent stores. If it’s a fit, I send you the checkout. If it isn’t, you’ll know on the call.

You can book it once your product passes the store-ready checklist. Have your product link, wholesale price and UPC barcode ready.

Why do I take a checklist before I can book?

So the call goes to products I can actually place. The must-haves are the same requirements in my terms: a GS1 barcode, a product stores can legally sell, one SKU, your business name and address, a consignment trial, and shipping reorders yourself.

What counts as a placed store?

A store counts when the owner or manager agrees to take your product on a trial of 30 days or more.

Why do I need a GS1 barcode?

Stores ring up every item by scanning it. A product without an official GS1-registered UPC barcode can’t be scanned at checkout, legally or practically. No barcode, no offer.

How do refunds work if five stores aren’t placed?

You get a full refund before my first store visit, or if you don’t qualify. After the first visit, the fee is nonrefundable for the 90 days while I’m out in the stores. At day 90, you get $200 back for every store not placed out of five.

Place three, and you get $400 back. The refund is capped at $1,000.

Who delivers and collects payment after placement?

I set up the consignment trial. If a store reorders, I hand the account to you. From then on you ship reorders and collect payment directly from the store owner.

How long does it take?

The average is 6 weeks, and no later than 90 days. If a trial is selling but not fast enough for a reorder yet, the manager may stretch it to 60 days.

What if a store doesn’t reorder after the trial?

A trial isn’t a promise the store will keep or reorder your product. The store pays only for what sells. If it keeps your product, it pays you. If not, it pays for what sold and the rest comes back to you.

What kinds of products do you take?

Products independent stores can legally sell, with GS1 registration and a scannable UPC. One product, one SKU. Book the free review and I’ll tell you straight whether yours fits.

I’m not in New York. Can you help?

The placement service covers Manhattan stores only. You supply the product and ship reorders yourself, so you need to be able to get product to Manhattan.

Want stores closer to home? The course teaches the same playbook, including how to distribute remotely.

Is the course part of the $1,000 service?

No, they’re separate. The $1,000 service is me placing your product. The $97 course teaches you to do it yourself, and its 60-day guarantee doesn’t cover the placement service.

Five Manhattan stores. $200 for each one that says yes.
